Amhurst, a neighborhood built by DR Horton on San Antonio’s Northwest side (78245) is a large community located off of Potranco one mile outside the 1604 (map). A little further down 1604 than Highpoint At Westcreek this community is close to many of the same things – SeaWorld, Hill Country Golf Club, Lackland Air Force Base, and shopping (HEB Plus, Kohls, Walmart, and much more) – and offers a larger community for those that want quality homes at great prices.

Amhurst offers 16 distinctive floor plans to choose from 1624 to 3224 square feet, along with a junior size Olympic pool and playground. This community is still in the building stages and there is plenty of room for new homes with a plan for a total of 950 homes when it is complete. Whether you want to build or purchase a home that has already been built, DR Horton has a home for you in Amhurst.
