Wall Homes - Stillwater Ranch - Foreclosures

What happened to Wall Homes in Stillwater Ranch?

Wall Homes was building in Stillwater Ranch, but now all of their homes (including two model homes) are for sale. What’s that all about? Back in January, Wall Homes, facing a devastating lack of liquidity, had no choice but to file for bankruptcy. In doing so, they sought to reorganize while removing some inventory from their books and emerging stronger and leaner.

In doing so, they stopped building in Stillwater Ranch (those lots were eventually bought by DR Horton), and now their homes have been foreclosed on and are up for sale. With prices ranging from $215,250 to $278,250 (prices current as of November 14, 2009) for homes ranging in size from 2,488 square feet up to 3,591 square feet – these homes are spacious, beautifully designed, and priced right. As they are foreclosures, you might think you could get them for a steal (although that is a common misconception about foreclosures), but because they are brand new homes, it will be hard to low-ball these homes too much. They are all priced well for the size homes they are and knowing Wall Homes attention to detail, these should satisfy many buyers in San Antonio. All of Wall Homes former lots were auctioned off and DR Horton wound up picking them up and have begun building homes to fill the void that Wall Homes left in Stillwater Ranch.
