Have you seen my Posterous? “I saw it in San Antonio.”
Is it Poster-ous or Posterous?
First, let’s get the pronunciation out of the way. Its said as in the word “preposterous” not as in “poster.” Now, we can get down to business. Posterous is one of the many new simple and easy to use blogging tools to come on the market recently. When I first toyed with it, it seemed almost too simple, but slowly but surely I started to understand it and I realized what a powerful tool it really is. In my case, I am using posterous as a photo blog chronicling my journeys through San Antonio. Imagine San Antonio Camera Phone had it’s own blog. That’s my posterous site, I saw it in San Antonio.
You may remember the website URL sanantonio.rerockstar.com from my previous photo blog which was powered by Flickr, but after they erased my account for “commercial use” I stopped doing much with it. I’ll be using this new site to showcase some of the snapshots I take in and around the city of San Antonio as I make my way back and forth as part of my daily routine of being a real estate agent.
So take a moment to visit the site, subscribe to the RSS feed, and enjoy the ride. Have an amazing photo of San Antonio you’d love to share? Send me an email and maybe I’ll use it (with full credit to you of course!).
If you’d like to try posterous for yourself, check out the posterous site and download the Apple iPhone app (PicPosterous).
Don’t have an iPhone and still want to post on the go? Posterous makes it simple – you can just email your posts and suddenly, they’re live and online.
