You know, at first I thought about not approving your comment, because it seemed like a veiled advertisement. The more I thought about it though, I had to approve it. Only a true Texan would say something like that and mean it in all seriousness. I love it.

You know what makes the Texas night sky sparkle even more? The stadium lights from the new, electrifying Cowboys Stadium. :)

Austin - I have yet to feel the sting of the fire ants. My wife did right after we moved in though. Since then, I spend a lot of time looking down while walking through my yard. I almost got it the other day while showing a house, I kicked the top off an ant hill as I was stepping over it. It was the most ants I have ever seen in one place - and they weren't happy. My goal is to never know what they feel like.

Ha, so Texan I could hardly stand it. You know, I was in Texas once when I was a little kid. Never found a ten gallon hat, but I did get fairly well acquainted with a hill of fire ants...all over my body...

Austin - I think it's just because the brims on our 10-gallon hats help shield our eyes from any extra light that gets in the way of non-Texans in their puny little states. (How Texan did I sound there?)

You know, this raises a good question about our atmosphere and celestial composition. What factors contribute to the stars above Texas being bigger and brighter than other states? Is there a large, Texas-shaped hole in the ozone that does away with vision-impeding greenhouse gases? Maybe its because of the robot aliens? Someone should look into this next time science fair season rolls around...
