Should You Skip It? Yes. Skip1.org

Go without so someone else doesn’t have to.
It’s the holiday season (I’m still stuffed from Thanksgiving) and with that starts a flurry of charitable contributions. Skip1.org is a charity that I feel the need to mention to you all as you consider where your money will go. The idea is relatively simple. “Skip it” and feed a child. Skip1.org isn’t asking you to go without much. Just skip something simple – just one thing. One day. You can see some of the things people have skipped and I was amazed at how simple some of it was. A box of donuts. A coffee. An appetizer at a restaurant. Simple things that no one would suffer without. But those simple things combined en masse across the world, can feed hungry children. It adds up quick. I’ll be thinking of some things to skip over the next few weeks. I hope you will too.
